Alexey Kozlov has worked as a guitarist and producer since 2008. In 2012, he began studying at the L.A. Music Academy (LACM) in Pasadena, California, where he trained under renowned musicians and educators including Tariqh Akoni (Stevie Wonder, Christina Aguilera), Jody Fisher, Bill Fowler, and Jerry Watts (Herbie Hancock, Sheryl Crow), among others. After graduating from LACM, Alexey performed with various artists throughout the Los Angeles area, working as a session musician, producer, and live performer.
In 2016, Alexey completed his Master’s degree at the Cornell School of Contemporary Music (CSCM) in Los Angeles. During his studies, he worked with distinguished instructors such as Abraham Laboriel, Allen Hinds, Otmaro Ruiz, Mauricio Guerrero, Michael Bradford, and others. That same year, he began teaching at On Stage Music Academy in Long Beach, California, where he shared his knowledge and experience with students of all ages and skill levels. Alongside teaching, Alexey remained actively involved in various projects as a guitarist, arranger, audio engineer, and music producer.
In 2019, Alexey began touring extensively across the United States with multiple acts, performing nationwide and playing over 100 shows annually at one point.

Today, Alexey focuses primarily on studio work and music education. As a versatile and well-rounded audio engineer, musician, and producer, he confidently works across a wide range of musical styles. His deep understanding of music and production enables him to manage every stage of the creative process, from recording demos to final production.
As an educator, Alexey emphasizes effective teaching methods tailored to each student’s individual needs, with a strong focus on consistent progress and practical results. By combining his extensive educational background with real-world experience as a professional musician, he helps students strengthen both their technical skills and overall understanding of music.
